With the successful completion of the Bentzin Family Town Square, the Watertown Redevelopment Authority is excited to move forward with the next phase of their vision for a vibrant, connected downtown — the Downtown River Corridor Plan.
At the end of 2023, they issued a request for proposals and were fortunate to partner with two firms, Kapur and RINKA, both of which bring a wealth of experience in community planning across Wisconsin and beyond.
This next step is a strategic effort to position the Watertown community for long-term investment, sustainable growth, and a renewed sense of energy downtown. By building on Watertown’s unique character and existing public spaces, the River Corridor Plan is designed to spark revitalization that extends well beyond the riverfront.
